SWIMSTOCK 2011 - powered by British Gas
On Saturday 21 MAY 2011, The Park Club, powered by British Gas, combine the opportunity to race double Olympic Gold medalist Rebecca Adlington in a 400 metres swim race, an Underwater Tea Party with the likes of Adrian Chiles and Louis Theroux (a pre-launch of Marie Curie's Blooming Great Tea Party), a children's Aquathlon, a Hula Hula Pool Party and a music festival including Sophie Ellis Bextor. We call this day SWIMSTOCK 2011 and we hope to raise lots of money for Marie Curie Cancer Care!
SWIMSTOCK will begin at 7am and run through to early evening, with the opportunity for members to sign up to incredible events or simply come along and enjoy the music, food, drink and spectacles.
General Access to SWIMSTOCK including Parkstock music festival
Entry to Swimstock is £10 for adults and £5 for children. This includes access to the our music festival including SOPHIE ELLIS BEXTOR, side shows such as Punch & Judy, pillow bash and pool party, as well as the opportunity to spectate the Race Rebecca, Blooming Great Underwater Tea Party and Aquathlon. Guests are welcome at a charge of £15 adults and £10 children.
SWIMSTOCK Event Participation
Entry to the Aquathlon, Race Rebecca and Underwater Tea Party are highly exclusive and available for just £10 for children and £25 for adults (see below). A waiting list exists for guests wanting to take part. All evet participants enjoy the general access described above, as well as a special commemorative T-SHIRT, special super cool WRIST BAND, MEDAL and GOODY BAG! Participants in the events are encouraged to use our SWIMSTOCK SPONSOR FORM to get friends, family and colleagues to share in the experience and help raise more money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
ADVANCE BOOKINGS for spectators and participants is highly recommended as a limited number of places are available. BOOKINGS OPEN 10AM 11 APRIL 2011. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
