Update on 3G pitch and Pavilion
Since our BLOG post of September 2016 introducing the concept of a new 3G pitch and pavilion over on the eastern part of The Park Club estate, I can now confirm that the 3G pitch is now laid and being used. On Saturday mornings our football coaches have been leading sessions on the new surface and our home side Old Vaughanians have been playing their games on Saturday afternoons.
Over the coming weeks we will be adding further providers of football, rugby, mutisports, multi skills to get the very most from this extraordinary 3G facility. As with any great facility we are busy vetting the best possible partners to complement our existing coaches. As the new “sports ground” will be open to members and non-members we will be able to offer a wider choice of time slots, length of class, which in turn provides more scope for progression to unlimited levels of play.

This Easter we are looking forward to camps for children and youths aged 3-16 years across Football, Multisports and Multiskills on the 3G pitch. Additionally, and as part of the new development there will be Tennis, Netball and Cricket Camps too.
Bookings will open soon with members getting plenty of notice to plan their children’s schedules. Bookings will also be open soon for summer term activities for children and adults with a new opportunity access various sports clubs.
To service these sports we’re busy adding new access, a boutique café as well as an all NEW 500 square metre 2 storey pavilion. Downstairs we will provide 4 changing rooms, reception and vending principally serving the 3G pitch. Upstairs there will be a giant studio for Karate, Boxing, Akido, Gymnastics and more.

We’ve already added brand new cricket nets which combined with Flexci wickets on the 3G will provide fantastic training as well as short cricket matches. I addition to the 3 astro tennis courts we are are finishing off a new tennis / netball court.
Finally, we’re also re-modelling the building at the Club entrance which will be an all new Dance School. Further information will follow in the next few weeks.
All these developments promise an exciting opportunity for members and non-members to be able to access amazing sporting facilities; for the first time Park Club members will be able to regularly play sports against other teams, as well as with friends who aren’t members. Of course, Park Club members are promised priority access and the convenience of everything you could want for your health, wealth and happiness, all in one place!
