Alison Evans

Having trained and worked extensively as a professional dancer Alison went onto work with renowned choreographer Arlene Phillips and also taught at the Pineapple Studios. She started to develop and structure a specialised fitness programme over 20 years ago using controlled stretching and strengthening techniques. Her work brought her to the attention of top athletes including Torvil and Dean for their Olympic comeback in 1994 and 3 years working with a Premiership Football Club. As well as working with physiotherapists as part of rehabilitation for injuries, she was able to adapt and modify the work for the various fields of sport.

The numerous long-term benefits that her methods bring, together with her intuitive understanding of individual personalities and their problems, has ensured that her work is very much in demand. Both for specific injuries and overall fitness her methods are becoming well established and highly regarded not only for the athletes but also for those who are a complete novice to exercise in general.

Due to popular demand Alison released her first General level Stretchworks DVD in December 2010. For more information on her work you can visit www.stretchworks.co.uk or join her on Stretchworks Facebook.
