Jackie McCaul
I have been practising yoga since 1994 and became a fully qualified Iyengar Teacher in 2003 after two years training. Since then I have continued my professional development through two further years of training, completing levels 1 and 2 of Junior Intermediate teacher training. This also qualifies me to teach remedial, ante and post natal yoga.
In September 2005 I was taught by BKS Iyengar at the Estes Park Convention in Colorado, USA and have also attended the Ramanani Memorial Iyengar Institute in Pune, India run by BKS Iyengar and his children, Geeta and Prashant.
Iyengar Yoga focuses on precision, alignment and safety in practice and is beneficial for people of all ages and abilities. It builds strength, flexibility, and stamina and promotes balance. It improves posture, concentration and increases feelings of well-being.
