WHAT OUR MEMBERS SAY

The Park Club is so many different things to different people. Here’s just a taste of what our members think of the Club and why over 50% of our members have been with us more than 5 years:

I love the swimming pool and splashing mummy. When the sun shines and my friend Imogen comes to play, we make picnics in the secret garden so we can look at the pool that is outside. I really like it when Miranda is in the créche, because she’s really funny. Miranda is Imogen’s sister and I’m allowed to play with her and have funny play times together.

The Park Club has become an essential part of my family’s life. It provides us with lots of safe outdoor space in the city. My children have grown up here and the sports coaches and créche staff have become like extended family. The Park Club is a place our entire family benefits from. We all enjoy the activities and the many new friendships we now share.

We find the Park Club to be fun and enjoyable for us and our children. There are many ways to stay healthy, including the gym, studio classes, the extensive outdoor activities and as well as the indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

You can have group or individual lessons for many of the sports and the coaches are kind, skilled and brilliant teachers. Furthermore, if you want to take your sport to the next level, the Park Club has teams in external and internal leagues and staff also arrange events at the Club such as duathlon, swimathon and triathlon, to name just a few.

In addition to the obvious attributes of a sporting club, the location is an important factor for our family, as we live in W11. The Park Club’s location, being straight down the A40, approx. 5-10 minutes away from us is a huge bonus. It has its own secure and large parking area, a bonus never to underestimated living in central London.

The Park Club has given extra scope to our family life. We use the club mainly at weekends, and love the space, freedom and options it provides us and the children. Another plus for us are the staff, always helpful, friendly and professional. Notting Hill is lucky to have the Westfield Shopping Centre on its doorstep. Well, The Park Club is just one junction further. The club is so convenient for Notting Hill. For us its less than ten minutes door to door!

The Park Club has been a revelation. No more running from one venue to another all over the place trying to secure times and dates for all sorts of classes. I go to one venue and my kids can do all the after hours clubs they like. It's literally a 10-15 minute drive from Notting Hill. Not only do they have all the classes we want with first class teachers but the kids have an inbuilt social club. My children love the fact that there are so many other kids to play with between classes. Convenience + great facilities + happy kids = happy Mum!

There are plenty of parks in London and an endless number of gyms, swimming pools, tennis courts, cafes, and playgrounds but I am hard pressed to think of almost any central London venue where all is combined into the one setting. I am also hard pressed to consider where I would be happy to go and allow my children to roam quite so freely.

My family are members of the Park Club because we are able to play and relax in the acres of fields, swim indoors and outdoors and finish it off with a Jacuzzi or sauna, have a delicious meal and work it off at the gym, or play a game of tennis and then send the kids to the playgrounds, whilst we catch up on emails using the computers in the adults only bar. All achieved within the safe, enclosed environment of the club.

Getting there takes minutes from our home in Marble Arch and as parking is easily available it’s a stress free journey.
