We are now running a new adult cricket class for Adult Park Club Members.

It will run every Tuesday during the cricket season, from 7-8.30pm.

The class will be run by Mark Williams, our junior cricket coach and also U15 ACC Colt manager. The class costs £5 per week and those attending will develop their batting, bowling, fielding as well as general fitness.

Aside form the weekly training we plan to give those attending the opportunity to play in twenty20 matches around once per month. Class attendees will make up a team to face a selection of the ACC players.

Cricket at The Park Club

The Park Club are proud to be able to offer some of the finest cricket facilities for Club members of all ages including 2 ECB regulation size cricket pitches as well as practice nets. These combined with our excellent cricket coaches, The Park Club’s association with Acton Cricket Club and the occasional support of ex-international players ensure we are able to offer both child and adult members excellent opportunities to enjoy this wonderful game.

The Park Club is proud to be associated with Acton Cricket Club, a division of the Acton Sports Association that is based at the Park Club. Cricket has a long and colourful history at the Park Club having been played on the grounds since as early as 1908. Acton Cricket Club celebrated their Centenary in 2008.

The Club plays in the Middlesex County League and achieved the distinction of winning a League Cup victory in 1998 as well as finishing league champions at first and second team levels in 2003, attaining its highest ever position. It currently runs four senior elevens on Saturdays and two on Sundays.

The Club also operates a thriving colts section currently running four sides, an under 11s, 13s, 15s and an under 17s age group. At the moment the Colts have two 14-year-old youth players in the county squad.

Who are the Coaches?

The Park Club, like all areas of our coaching, are proud of the standard of cricket coaching available. Our coaches are required to have a minimum of the Cricket Young Leaders Award and more often the ECB Level 1 as accredited by the ECB.

All of the coaches that The Park Club employ have a strong history within the game and most have many years experience coaching. We are also proud of our links with ex-professional and ex-international players who regularly guest at our camps. This coupled with our in house coaches ensure that there is always plenty of experience available from our coaching staff.
