Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a technique aimed at restoring mechanical and physical dysfunction, using gentle Osteopathic manipulation, stretching and neuro-muscular massage. A detailed case history and physical examination is carried out and involves looking at postural change, passive and active examination of the spine and limbs, and an assessment of abnormal joint pain.


Osteopathy by: Amanda O'Connor

Amanda specialises in paediatric osteopathy. Amanda graduated in 1998 from the London School of Osteopathy. She developed an interest in paediatrics and obstetrics as an undergraduate student and has worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in Harley Street for several years. She has completed their 2 year post-graduate training in paediatric osteopathy. Amanda is also a member of the teaching faculty and examiner at the London School of Osteopathy.
