Introduction
to The Ark

The Ark in the Park, our crèche and day care nursery, is situated adjacent to the main Club entrance. The Ark is divided into age appropriate rooms, with a specific area for programmed activities running alongside the daily crèche and day care.

The Ark has magnificent facilities for fun and learning both indoors and outdoors in two acres of lovingly kept grounds. Our aim at The Ark in the Park is to provide a warm, happy, safe, stimulating and relaxed environment in which children are encouraged to provide stimulating activities for the children, with particular emphasis on:

• Emotional security and personal growth
• Social development and behaviour based on self respect and respect for others
• The development of language and other means of self-expression
• Physical activities, which encourage co-ordination and independence with proper regard for safety
• Educational activities based on guided play with a range of age appropriate materials
