Junior Football

The Park Club offers some of the finest football facilities for Club members of all ages to enjoy including an FA regulation size football pitch and Astroturf 5-a-side pitches. These combined with excellent F.A. qualified Football Coaches and associations with Old Vaughanians Football Club and Brentford Football Club's Community Sports Trust, (2006 Football League Community Football Club of The Year) enable The Park Club to provide the perfect setting to participate in "the beautiful game".

Football for Young Members

Football activities are offered throughout the year to cater specifically for boys and girls. Women's football is becoming increasingly popular across the UK (The women's England team have qualified for The World Cup Finals in 2007), and fully qualified male and female instructors will ensure all participants are afforded the best opportunity to develop their talent during their courses. Football activities are broadly divided in to two categories: Term Time activities and Holiday Camps.

Term Time Football Activities

These six-week courses are designed to run within spring, summer and autumn school terms divided by half term holidays. The following activities are available during these times.

Kiddikicks courses for Children up to 5 Years Old

Kiddikicks is a unique programme to give younger children, from 18/20 months through to 5 years old, their first taste of football and a whole lot more. Using the greatest game on earth – football  - Kiddikicks introduces children to real sports skills and helps them develop their natural love of being active.

Our aim
Our aim at Kiddikicks is simple. To provide the very best, friendliest football coaching available, making sure that responsibility and care for your child is our top priority. Your child’s enjoyment and the fun they have at every one of our sessions are vital to our success.

It’s for parents too!
At Kiddikicks we care about you too not just your little one! You are always welcome at our sessions. You can watch your child learn new skills, which are easily missed in everyday life. Parents tell us that our sessions also offer a fantastic opportunity to mingle with other parents, make new friends and share ideas, whilst your ‘terror’ is burning energy and having fun playing footie!

Through structured football fun we’ve developed a range of sports and social skills to provide a great experience for your child and satisfying for you to watch.

Our goal is to introduce pre-school children to sport through football using our unique, fun-learning techniques developing real football and other sports skills in a safe and creative environment that benefits every child.

  • Promoting participation and young citizenship
  • Communicating positive attitudes
  • Enhancing health and happiness                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        What is our game plan?
  • To hold football classes for children aged between 18 months and 5 years of all abilities.
  • To encourage every child to achieve the highest possible standard within their competence but always to enjoy football.
  • To seek to develop natural talent to professional standards whilst never forgetting that a child’s life is enhanced by participation in sport.

    Parent participation
In our experience its true that toddlers perform better if parents perform too! We strongly recommend that parents participate in all our classes and training sessions (unless a specific arrangement has been made with the coach, prior to a session).

Courses for the younger children, aged 4 and 5 years of age, focus on an early development of the core football skills that will result in a long and enjoyable involvement in football. It will also help to develop their coordination, balance and team - working skills generally.

Courses for the elder children, aged 6 to 10 years of age, offer a chance to further develop the skills learned in the earlier course to a more accomplished level. In addition to this, greater emphasis is placed on tactical awareness, sportsmanship and a good understanding of the rules of the game.
