ZUMBA STEP

Zumba Step is a combination of fun Zumba routines and toning and strengthening moves of Step Aerobics. Just like Zumba the routine is choreographed to music from all around the world, however, we incorporate the step to make it more challenging. Mixing step moves with dance makes this class a good workout as well as a fun.

The structure of Zumba step class consists of a short warm up followed by 40 minutes of choreographed work on and off the step. The class will work on all major muscle groups and can incorporate use of hand weights for upper body for anyone wanting achieve a tougher workout. Zumba Step promotes an increase in cardio and calorie burning while adding moves that define and sculpt core, legs and gluteus. The class is concluded with a 15 minute abs work and stretch.

These classes are typically made up of 40 minutes of Zumba Step followed by 15/20 minutes of toning, sculpting and stretching exercises on the mat.
