CASE STUDY: BECHTEL LIMITED FAMILY FUN DAY

Following a recommendation, Carousel Events LLP were approached by Bechtel Limited to find a suitable venue for their Company Family Fun Day, devise an event format, source entertainment and activities for 700 guests and manage the event throughout.

The Park Club, Acton, London W3, was the chosen venue for the Bechtel Family Fun Day in September 2007. The Entertainment appealed to all ages, which included Multi-Skilled Entertainers, Close-up Magician, a loveable Host with Fun Day Stage Shows, Costume Characters, various Inflatables, Fun Fair Rides and activities such as Dodgems, Swing boats, Helter Skelter, Ferris Wheel, Fun House, Chair ‘o’ Planes, Cups & Saucers, Popcorn, Candy Floss and Fairground Stalls with lots of prizes.

Other activities available included a Land Train, Bungee Trampoline, Rotating Climbing Wall, Sega World and a Venturer Simulator. Facepainters, Temporary tattooists, Circus and Craft Workshops were also kept busy throughout the Fun Day. Adult and Kids Quad Bikes were a big hit in the Country Pursuits zone, in addition to the hilarious Powerturn Buggies.

For those who wanted to “Chill”, a specialist Chill-out provider who recently featured in Tatler Magazine were brought in to offer Indian Massages in a beautiful Indian Raj Style Tent, making it the ultimate nirvana. Guests also received a free gift to enable them to relax, re-engergise and re-focus!

A luxury marquee was constructed and acted as a service point for the bar, and the Park Club served up a delicious BBQ with extensive Salad buffet. Carousel Events LLP ensured Health & Safety was top of the list, employing SIA Security & Event Marshalls, a Health & Safety Officer, together with onsite Ambulance and Paramedic Support Unit.
